This pressure cooking is awesome. I do not need to worry about the non-stick coatings because the cooking pot is made of stainless steel. It works great as a rice cooker, you have perfectly cooked rice in 12 minutes. I would prefer cooking rice with a pressure cooker because it uses less water, saves time and energy. I love the browning function built in a pressure cooker. I can brown food and add water to slow cooking or pressure cooking without transferring food to another pot. The pressure cooker is pretty quiet. Just had this for about a month, I use it every single day. The pressure cooker feature is quieter than a stove top pressure cooker but works the same as a charm. The rice cooker feature cooks perfect rice. I use this function almost every day. Because it has a stainless steel pot, I was a little worried that the rice may stick on the bottom. But it does not stick, just add with the right amount of water, and turn off the keep warm after the timer runs out and let the pressure release naturally.Browning, soup and slow cooking work as expected as well. We have not used steaming feature yet. It did cost me more than this rice cooker. Stainless Steel Rice Cooker Model ME81 (Formerly ME8) - by Miracle Exclusives, but money well spent. Rice cooked soft and much faster. But if you want it cooked hard just add less water. We used it every day since we got it.Btw, it can be used to fry or saute food, cook meat and soup. It is great if you don't have a lot of space in your kitchen or if you are remodeling your kitchen. Highly recommend this product. |
